Privacy

Your details, handled plainly.

This site asks for very little, keeps it only to prepare for and follow up on our conversation, and never sells it or lets anyone use it for their own purposes. Here's exactly what happens to it.

What the booking form collects

  • Your name and email, saved when you continue past the first step.
  • Your answers about your company: company name, your role, approximate size, trade, ownership, what prompted the conversation, and any note you add.
  • Where you came from: the page you were on before booking, the site that sent you, and any campaign tags in the link.
  • Your booking: the time you choose, handled by the scheduler described below.

Why

To prepare for our working conversation, to reach you if a booking doesn't go through, and to follow up on what we discussed. Nothing else. You won't be added to a mailing list.

Where it is stored, and who helps

  • This site's server stores the form in a private database, hosted by Railway in the United States. Only I can see it, behind a login.
  • Cal.com runs the scheduler and sends the calendar invite. It receives your name, email, answers and chosen time. Its own privacy policy applies to that booking.
  • Resend delivers the email that tells me a new booking request has come in.
  • Google hosts my calendar, where the meeting is added, and serves the fonts on this site.

None of them may use your details for their own purposes beyond providing that service.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The booking form keeps your progress in your browser only until you close the tab, so a reload doesn't lose your answers.

How long it's kept, and deleting it

I keep your details while they're useful for our conversation and any work that follows. You can ask me to delete them at any time by emailing marti@martiruiz.com, and I'll confirm when it's done. A booking made through Cal.com can also be cancelled from the invite.
